नेपालमा हालै आएको विनाशकारी बाढी तथा प्राकृतिक विपद्बाट प्रभावित नागरिकहरूको उद्धार तथा राहतका लागि विभिन्न संस्था र व्यक्तिहरुले सहयोग संकलन गरिरहेका छन्। तनहुँ समाज युकेले बाढीपीडितलाई १० लाख १९५ राहत रकम हस्तान्तरण गरेको छ। कोर्नवल फालमाउथमा आयोजित एक च्यारिटी कार्यक्रममार्फत ६ लाख रुपैयाँ संकलन गरिएको छ। लन्डन पशुपतिनाथ मन्दिरले तीज विशेष कार्यक्रम आयोजना गर्दै बाढीपीडितका लागि सहयोग जुटाउने भएको छ। चिल्ड्रेन भिजन नेपालले बेलायतबाट बाढीपीडित बालबालिकाका लागि सहयोगको अपिल गरेको छ। नेपालका बाढी प्रभावितका लागि देशविदेशबाट प्रधानमन्त्री राहत कोषमा करिब १२ अर्ब रुपैयाँ जम्मा भएको छ। यस बीच, लन्डनमा 'तीज फर अ कज' कार्यक्रम आयोजना हुन लागेको छ, जसमा नेपालका चर्चित कलाकारहरू बद्री पंगेनी र दुर्गेश थापा सहभागी हुने छन्। गौतम बुद्ध क्रिकेट क्लबले आफ्नो तेस्रो संस्करण क्रिकेट प्रतियोगिता आयोजना गर्ने भएको छ। ब्रिटेन-नेपाल चेम्बर अफ कमर्सले लन्डनस्थित नेपाली दूतावासमा व्यवसायिक तथा नेटवर्किङ कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न गरेको छ। युनाइटेड नेपाली डायस्पोरा अर्गनाइजेसन यूकेको सभापतिमा पुष्पा राना मनोनीत हुनुभएको छ। अन्तरराष्ट्रिय धादिङ समाजको बेलायत शाखा गठन भएको छ, जसको संयोजकमा सुरेन्द्र रुपाखेती चयन भएका छन्।
Nepalis in the UK are coming together to support those affected by the recent floods in Nepal, with various events and fundraising efforts taking place in London.
