Showroom Host/Receptionist We are currently recruiting for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Showroom Host / Receptionist to join a prestigious automotive dealership in Reading on a short term temporary basis. As the first point of contact for customers visiting the showroom, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys interacting with people in a professional environment. Dates needing cover: Friday 6th and Monday 9th November. For the right candidate, this role could also lead to additional opportunities and ongoing assignments throughout the busy Christmas period and beyond. Key Responsibilities Welcoming customers into the dealership and ensuring they receive an excellent first impression Managing the reception area and maintaining a professional showroom environment Offering refreshments to customers and ensuring they are comfortable while waiting Regularly replenishing tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, and other refreshment supplies Directing customers to the relevant sales, service, or management teams Handling incoming telephone calls and transferring enquiries appropriately Managing visitor sign-in procedures and maintaining accurate records Supporting the dealership team with general administrative duties when required Ensuring customer waiting areas remain tidy, stocked, and presentable at all times About You Previous experience as a Showroom Host within the automotive industry would be highly advantageous Experience in a Receptionist, Front of House, Hospitality, Retail, or Customer Service role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A professional, friendly, and well-presented approach Comfortable interacting with customers face-to-face and over the phone Strong organisational skills and attention to…
