EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Westwood Primary School, Lowestoft, Suffolk Contract: 31.25 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, fixed-term until 31.08.2027 Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:15 Salary (Actual): ALT Grade D - £18,520.22 to £18,960.20 Help shape confident learners from the very start of their journey. We are looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join the team at Westwood Primary School, a nurturing primary school in Lowestoft where high expectations, inclusion and strong relationships sit at the heart of school life. Working closely with teachers and colleagues, the successful candidate will contribute to a positive, engaging learning environment and support children’s academic, social and emotional development. Summary of Key Responsibilities Support teaching and learning within the EYFS, working with individuals and small groups to help children make progress. Deliver and adapt planned learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff. Promote inclusion and provide targeted support for pupils with additional learning, communication, behavioural or physical needs. Support children’s wellbeing, independence, personal care and positive behaviour as required. Monitor progress, provide feedback to teachers, and build positive relationships with families, colleagues and external professionals.
