Teacher of PE

Teacher of PE MPR/UPR Icknield Community College, an 11-16 comprehensive school, is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of PE from Jan 2027 to Aug 2027. We have a well-established curriculum at KS3 and KS4, with fully-resourced schemes of work, underpinned by our shared pedagogical approaches and consistent assessment goals. We strive continually to develop our curriculum to meet the needs of all learners. We also offer broad and balanced extra curricular opportunities for our students through a range of clubs and fixtures. We place great emphasis on teachers’ professional development through coaching and the sharing of good practice between colleagues as well as great emphasis on teachers’ wellbeing. All teachers across the school have a fortnightly wellbeing hour - scheduled for the beginning or end of the school day - which they can take at home.
